One thing Obama era has helped with a quite extraordinary shift is full recognition of collective worth within minorities across the US... more so young blacks... In a way 30 50 years down the road when you speak of a specific precedent and or landmark idea, your audience may easily recall that permissive Obama era which allowed a collective burst in century old demons of racism and civil rights fights...
